I leave for St. Louis tomorrow. I am excited for this Summer because I have so many things I want to do and get done. But each Summer I’ve gone into it wanting to do too many things and not getting enough of those things done. So, this Summer, I’m determined to focus my goals and accomplish 2-3 thoroughly rather than 6+ slightly.
These goals include:
- Lose weight/Look good.
- Kick ass at my MasterCard Technologies internship.
- Learn to cook a bit more.
- Play Magic: The Gathering and kick ass at that.
- Play Diablo 3 and kick ass at that.
- Learn to do some woodworking… maybe make some cool furniture for my place next year.
So let’s prioritize this a bit…
I need to lose weight. I want to feel confident in my appearance. This is basically my last chance and best opportunity to finally accomplish this goal. It’s my last chance in that this is my last full school year coming up to take advantage of a more “fine-tuned” body. Let’s face it, if I want to feel confident in at least ONE point in my educational career with the ladies this is my last shot. It’s also my best opportunity because: A-I’ll have the money from my internship to purchase healthier items (if that makes sense). B-I’ll have a free fitness center at MasterCard to take advantage of. C-I have time and ability to focus on it… It needs to happen, and I need to stay motivated. Does anyone have any suggestions?
So priorities are, clearly: Lose weight and kick-ass at my internship (that’s a given).
The other goals are I guess just whatever I feel like doing that day… Though if I want to cook or if I want to do some woodworking I feel like I might actually have to devote some time to those things…
